Poetry Zine
This poetry zine explores themes of bodily disintegration, aging, and the breakdown of technology as a metaphor for the self, weaving together frustration, questioning, and vulnerability. I combined typography with collage techniques, layering scanned objects, photos, and digital manipulation to visually amplify the poems’ emotional weight. A hand-drawn and handwritten interlude offers an unexpected moment, highlighting my versatility as both a designer and writer. This project challenged me to craft not just individual pages, but a cohesive long-form experience — shaping the poem sequence, visual flow, and conceptual arc to create a zine where design and literary intention work in tandem.
*Please note. Title page has been lengthened for viewing. Zine pages are meant to be folded upon print and would be ordered differently for printing.
